About Rose La Bohème

Rose La Bohème was born from a passion for art, beauty, and elegance.

Artist Julie “Yulia” Brantveyn was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and immigrated to the United States more than 35 years ago. After a successful career spanning over three decades in the legal profession, she discovered painting as a creative outlet and a way to bring more beauty, color, and optimism into everyday life.

Growing up in Kyiv, one of Europe's most beautiful cities, Yulia was surrounded by blooming chestnut trees, cherry blossoms, lilacs, roses, and peonies. Those memories and her lifelong love of nature and beauty continue to inspire her artwork today.

Each Rose La Bohème design begins as an original painting and is thoughtfully transformed into fashion, accessories, and home décor. Through her creations, Yulia hopes to share a little more beauty with the world, inspired by the belief that beauty can uplift the spirit and bring joy to everyday life.
